At every stage in a coffee’s life, there are people. There are people planting, tending, harvesting, washing, processing, shipping, exporting, importing, sourcing, roasting, blending, packaging, shipping, grinding, dosing, brewing, drinking, writing and making art about coffee. And as much as you may argue that without people there would be no coffee, it might be just as accurate to say that without coffee, there would be no people. At least no civilized people. Especially at 8 in the morning.
Meet the Press Pot is a journey through the minds of those people.
This blog is maintained by a coffee professional, journalist, editor and New Yorker called Erin Meister. She does the interviewing, but can only be held responsible for the inanity of the questions, not the answers.
